CAS(E) this Sketch 87 + Tag You're It!

This week's CAS(E) this Sketch is a combined challenge with the new
Tag You're It! Challenge. For this challenge, create a tag or a card with a tag
based on Gayatri's awesome sketch.

Since I'm on the design team for both challenges, I decided to make a tag
based on the sketch. And here it is.

I stenciled the design on the side and added the Mama Elephant birds (love them!)
with a sentiment from WPlus9. Some puffy heart stickers were added
and the tag was finished off with black and white twine.

If you decide to join us, this will be a two week challenge and you can also link up
your project at Tag You're It. The deadline for CAS(E) this Sketch is
Thursday, August 14th.

Thanks for stopping by, and we hope to see your project(s) in the galleries!

AEI♥U Challenge #12--DIE CUTS

(Note: For my CASual Fridays Challenge post and giveaway, scroll down or click here.)

AEI♥U Challenge #12 is DIE CUTS--use dies and at least one Avery Elle stamp
on your card. If you don't own any Avery Elle stamps, feel free to use a digital one here.

For my card, I die cut some banners using Avery Elle's Dotted Die Elle-ments
and papers from the new Brights and Sorbet Collections.
The sentiment is from Red and Goldie.

Be sure to visit the AEI♥U Challenge blog to see how my teammates used dies
on their projects, and join us if you can. Link up your card(s) by Sunday, August 3rd.

Thanks so much for stopping by!

AVERY ELLE PRODUCTS USED:

CASual Fridays Challenge 134--and a Girl Friday Giveaway!

CASual Fridays Challenge 134 marks the last challenge for 2014.
Michele is generously allowing all her Girl Fridays to have a giveaway of a
$20 gift certificate to shop at the CASual Fridays store!

More about that after I share the deets of the challenge which is TIC TAC TOE.
Create a clean and simple project using any three items
in a horizontal, vertical, or diagonal row.

For my card, I chose the top row: chevrons, black, sequins.

I inked up Paper Smooches chevron stamp in three colors of distress inks,
spritzed it with water and stamped it three times on watercolor paper.
The sentiment is from CASual Fridays Stamps, and the sequins are Avery Elle.

For a chance to win the giveaway, simply leave me a comment on this post.
The deadline to enter will be Friday, August 22nd--the same day the challenge ends,
and the winner will be announced on the CASual Fridays blog on Monday, August 25th.
Hope you'll join the TIC-TAC-TOE fun!

I'd like to take this time to thank Michele and the rest of the design team
for a fun ride! It's been an honor and a privilege being a Girl Friday
and working with all of you!

CAS(E) this Sketch 86

Here's CAS(E) this Sketch 86 brought to you by Sam.

And here's my take on it.

I turned the sketch 90 degrees and simplified it a bit.
The butterfly was die cut from a scrap piece of smooshed watercolored cardstock
and the sentiment is from Mama Elephant. The card was finished off with gold spatter.

Please visit CAS(E) this Sketch to see how my teammates interpreted the sketch
and join us if you can. You could be our next guest designer!
Be sure to link up your card(s) by Thursday, July 31st.

Thanks for stopping by!
