Hero Arts Handmade for Christmas Blog Hop!

Welcome to the Hero Arts Handmade for Christmas Blog Hop!

You should have arrived from Kelly's blog or you can start here at the beginning
because there are prizes for commenting, and as you know the more you comment,
the higher your odds of winning!

My card uses the new Christmas Crystals clear stamps. As soon as I saw the set,
I knew that I wanted to watercolor them.

I gold embossed the largest crystal ornament and filled in the facets
with Peerless Watercolors. The ornament is hanging from Lisa's Pen and Ink Fir branch
and I chose a non holiday sentiment because of all the dazzle and bling!

Your next stop on the hop is Tami, and I can't wait to see her fabulous project!
Don't forget to leave comments along the way because there's a huge GRAND prize
of $75 in Hero Arts goodies, and two $10 gift cards for the Hero Arts online store!

You have until Thursday, October 2nd at 11:59pm PST to leave a comment
and the winners will be announced on October 3rd on the Hero Arts blog.
Happy hopping and good luck!

CASology--Flutter

It's been a while since I joined CASology's challenges and decided to jump in
after I saw this week's cue word.

Here's my card.

Fluttering leaves. I had a bunch of ink distressed leaves in my scrap pile
and attached them to a skinny card to depict fluttering.
The sentiment is from Jane's Doodles.

I'm off to peruse the gallery. Thanks for stopping by!

CAS(E) this Sketch 94

Here's CAS(E) this Sketch 94 designed by moi.

And here's my totally literal take on it.

Yep, I'm still playing with Peerless Watercolors. I just love the vibrancy of the colors!
If you look closely, the feathers are inlaid and form one single piece.
I dabbed some colors on each feather and spattered the card with dark ink.
The sentiment is from Hero Arts.

AEI♥U Challenge 16--Sketch

Challenge 16 at AEI♥U Challenge is a fun sketch by Yana. Here it is.

And here's my take on it.

I used the gorgeous bloom from Petals and Stems--one of my fave Avery Elle sets--
and popped it up on a strip of Sorbet paper. I added some splatters from the
Brushed stamp set, and the gold embossed sentment is a freebie
that comes with your Avery Elle order. Love them!

This card marks the end of my term with AEI♥U Challenge.
I was truly blessed to work with an awesome design team and incredible stamps and dies!
Thank you, Jamie, for having me as part of the Avery Elle family. It's been a fun ride! ♥

CAS(E) this Sketch 93

Here's CAS(E) this Sketch 93 courtesy of former teammate Gayatri.

And here's my take on it.

I flipped the sketch because I wanted to use the new Be Jolly stamp set--
designed by Heather Campbell--and have the snowman facing into the card.
He was colored with Copics and I added a few details with some Distress Stickles
and a white pigment pen. The sentiment and snowflakes come with the set.
