MFT October Release Countdown--Day 3

It's Day 3 of My Favorite Things October Release Countdown and this
month's Pure Innocence is Milk and Cookies.

I colored the little girl and her glass of milk with Copics, then cut them out with
the matching dies. I cut a sheet of yellow check paper with the scallop edge
rectangle and lightly ink distressed the edges.

I adhered the panel to a white card base, then popped up the little girl
with dimensional adhesive after adding an oval shadow beneath her.

I wasn't sure where to place the glass of milk, so I balanced it on the chair's arm rest.
Are you hoping it doesn't fall? Me too! I finished off the card with the sentiment.

Be sure to visit today's countdown post at My Favorite Things for more inspiration
from the participating design team members, and leave a comment there
for a chance to win $75 in prizes!

  9. Such a sweet card! I love the colors you used and the gingham background, the dotted dress, and the texture of the chair's fabric. Having the background the size you did makes the little girl more intimate than if you had a larger background where the little girl would have looked lost. Thanks for sharing!
